Aero Structure Design

Our engineers have been delegated design check approvals on one of the largest commercial aerospace design programs in the country. This development program saw a successful integration of the design and manufacturing environment.

Aero Tooling Design

We are experienced in designing tools for aircraft makers. We have been involved in various types of tool design such as shop aids, transportation media, trolleys, lay-up mold (LM) tool, NC machining fixture (NCMF), Drilling Jig (DJ), Subassembly Jig (SAJ), Main Assembly Jig (MAJ), Hoisting Beam, etc.

Our in-depth understanding of the aircraft engineering requirements stems from our experience in aircraft design enabling us to provide better solutions to our clients, which is carried on throughout the design life cycle of the tools.

We established the in-house process to provide an end-to-end solution to the client and support continuous improvement including post first article inspection stage. Our latest novel achievement involves the concurrent engineering design activities for the A321XLR tooling on the wing components.

Product Realization

Drawing from our expertise in the aviation and aerospace sector, our engineering design service is driven by a robust product design & development system which ensures the development of an optimum solution within the shortest cycle systematically and effectively.

Additive Manufacturing

In collaboration with our business partners, we are working to research and explore the engineering needs of using additive manufacturing technology. Our aim is to be able to design and supply 3D printed components across the industries.

Our in-depth industry knowledge enabled us to investigate the material characteristic, relevant post-processes, precision requirements, and cost to suit the application.

We adopted a range of additive manufacturing technology including fuse deposition modeling (FDM), stereolithography (SLA), digital light processing (DLP), PolyJet, and metal 3D printing.

Reverse Engineering / Metrology

We are experienced in utilizing digitization technology to capture physical part geometries and translate them into CAD/CAM models. This enables the creation of a digital environment for components and/or tools that facilitates the product life cycle management process and enables tooling refreshment activities. Our reverse engineering experiences across all the different industries including automotiveaerospaceconsumer goodsmold and die, etc…

We have also adopted the technology for metrology applications, particularly for tool inspections and calibration. Our value lies in our ability to interpret the scanned data and correlate them to the design intent/requirements. i.e. GDnT ASME Y14.5.

On-Site Engineering Support

We provide resources to support manufacturing readiness, tooling, and engineering design activities. We ensure our resources are well trained and capable to interpret the engineering dataset, understand the configuration, operate the CAD tools, and most importantly, communicate with the client’s engineering team.

Engineering Template

We supply engineering templates made of mylar/polyester (PET) or polycarbonate (PC) materials. Our robust engineering background ensures that we understand and have the ability to translate the engineering requirements into template applications which are generally used as shop aids, inspection tools, and for blueprint storage purposes.

The materials are carefully selected from the market and the machines are well-calibrated for the above-mentioned applications.

Engineering Tools Customization

We specialize in creating scripts to customize the tools. Generally, most software tool provides basic functions that cover most type of tasks. However, there are also times when these native functions could not provide the outcome needed without the assistance of a script. By creating customized functions, these shortcomings can be addressed and at the same time, remove the need to painstakingly perform these tedious and mundane tasks. Thus, eliminate non-value engineering hours, which is saving the cost.
